POSITION DESCRIPTION SUMMARY: Responsible for working directly with the Executive Director and Director of Community Engagement to fulfill the organization’s mission and vision as it pertains to events, facility use, and programs. This position will oversee administrative aspects relevant to programming and events, and coordinate all aspects of in-house events and facility rentals from inception to post-event cleanup. Tarpon Bay Explorers is looking for a full or part time Ramp Professional. Tarpon Bay Explorers is the concession to the J.N. “Ding” Darling National Wildlife Refuge on Sanibel Island. The company provides eco tours and rentals for the Refuge. Duties of a Ramp Professional includes helping visitors with rental equipment including Kayaks, Paddleboards, Bikes and Pontoon boats. Strong customer service experience is needed to help visitors with all information regarding Refuge areas and activities.
